Power facilities targeted in the region
The country's power facilities have come under increased attacks in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were injured while residents in eastern districts were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water supplies, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a young boy was killed in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, based on information from area administrators.

Russian forces has intensified strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not window dressing but decisive action - from the America, European nations and the Group of Seven - in supplying defensive weapons and applying sanctions," was stated in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty missiles attacked energy facilities, describing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.

A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the city have been hospitalized, per statements from local officials.

The attacks succeed evenings of bombing campaigns in the region, sections of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The whole nation is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to detect.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with assaults already affecting energy systems.

He said technical personnel and government agencies were anticipating additional strikes.
